Deep straw yellow in color, this superb version shows an ample, fruity, intense and slightly aromatic bouquet that lingers in layered complexity; well balanced on the palate, silky in texture yet sustained by zesty acidity and excellent structure, it is a match made in heaven with fish-based dishes, prosciutto (notably a local specialty, prosciutto crudo di San Daniele) and vegetable risottos.
TASTING NOTES: Straw yellow in colour; the bouquet is delicate, with distinct finesse and elegance: fresh and fruity in youth, it becomes complex, spicy and ample after its 2nd year. On the palate, it is mellow and well balanced, full and complex from the three varieties in the blend.
